As universities look to improve their student’s on- and off-campus experience, they want to streamline the management of multiple credentials used in various applications (e.g. identification, building and door access, vending machines, banking, ticketing, etc). As a result, many higher education institutions are exploring single, contactless card systems that would replace less secure magnetic stripe or barcode IDs.
For the second part in HID’s higher education webinar series, Nils Wahlander provides key information on making the switch from magstripe to a one card solution.
